There are many reasons for companies to need duplicate copies of a single form. Whether that be for invoicing – one for the client, one for the back office, one for the company’s financial department; there are many people who would need to keep this receipt on file. Sounds like quite a bit of work, however – at PSC we offer NCR pads to speed up the process of duplicating copies of a completed form.
What Are NCR Pads?
NCR Pads (NCR stands for No Carbon Required) had been invented as an alternative to the process of duplicating copies. Back then – to duplicated completed forms – stores used carbon paper and placed it directly below the original file, and then empty form underneath the carbon paper.
NCR paper is a simple solution in this situation. As carbon copies were expensive and time consuming, a special coating called microencapsulate dye which reacts to the paper underneath the original emerged as an alternative. NCR paper are a prime example of this coating applied, as you can write on the top paper, which will than duplicate itself on the following paper without needing any carbon.
NCR Pads are multiple sets of these coated forms glued together. You can rip 2 to 4 of these pages out if you are ready to use them. It is a cost-effective way of duplicating forms and invoices – not to forget much easier to deal with.
